'Kathy is a friendly, approachable and caring Pilates teacher, who provides an effective and enjoyable class. She always explains the exercises clearly, and makes a special effort to look after everyone in the class, with alternatives or modifications where needed. Look around the room, and you will see people smiling - they are obviously having a good time. As a Pilates teacher myself, I am always surprised at how relaxed and flexible I feel at the end of Kathy's classes (although my muscles are telling me that they have been working). I aim to keep my place in the class for as long as I can still physically get there.'

'Kathy's Pilates classes are relaxing, and fairly gentle, but you can certainly feel you have exercised some muscles by the end of each session! She explains each exercise very clearly, so you feel you are doing the movements correctly, which is great. I am sure the classes have helped my core strength and flexibility, as well as being an enjoyable way to spend an hour each week.'

'In the past I've been rather afraid of 'exercise' classes, but you have always made me feel welcome with your easy-going and friendly approach and have been full of encouragement. I have noticed that my core strength has already improved, my balance is more stable and I leave the lessons feeling taller and stronger! Your personal style and the way you tailor the activities to each individual, means that you know how to stretch and challenge, whilst making sure that we don't 'overdo' it. 'I have enjoyed Pilates classes before joining Kathy's class. I found them extremely helpful in keeping my joints flexible. However, I was impressed by the more professional approach that Kathy took before I started. I never had a health assessment before, just turned up to class. I can see how important this is. I am greatly enjoying the classes. Instructions are given clearly with useful demonstrations. There is a relaxed atmosphere which does help. I don't feel embarrassed if I get things wrong! I am finding these classes most beneficial, physically and mentally. Looking forward to next Tuesday.'

' I had never tried Pilates before and I was wondering if it would be right for me as I am not a very agile person. I found it hard work to start with but the benefits soon became apparent, as I became more supple and had greater movement than I did before. Kathy is a friendly, excellent teacher that certainly knows her stuff , with instruction that is clear and easy to understand. I like the classes as they are small and intimate, and the attention you get from Kathy could not be bettered.'

'Peverell Pilates is a small, friendly and fun class. Kathy is excellent at tailoring the exercises to the individuals in her class,young and older,without altering the pace of the session. I have been taking the classes for a year now and have definitely noticed increased core strength,stamina and flexibility. Kathy's classes place emphasis on listening to your own body and taking the exercises as far as is comfortable for you as an individual. Thoroughly recommend the classes for new comers to Pilates or those who have taken previous classes. '
